Sales of used vehicle in China exceeded 10 million units in 2016, with the anticipation that the need for vehicle inspections is also expected to surge. AIS, a third-party inspection company, has a proven track record of performing over 700,000 vehicle inspections per year in Japan, and to facilitate its rigorous vehicle inspections and evaluations in China, the company decided to establish a training environment for inspectors and instructors in an effort to respond to the anticipated demand for inspections.

AIS plans to continue drawing on the strengths of Japan's inspection expertise and operational know-how towards strengthening the flow of safe and dependable pre-owned vehicles in China as well as contributing to further development of the industry.
