Texas Online Preparatory School (TOPS), a tuition-free online public school, is now accepting enrollment applications for the 2017-18 school year. A college prep magnet school authorized by the Huntsville Independent School District, TOPS serves advanced learners in grades 3-12 throughout the state.

Accredited by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and AdvancED, TOPS is a college preparatory school that provides advanced learners with a rigorous education. To attend, students must have met a minimum passing standard on the previous year’s STAAR scores, have had 90 percent attendance during the prior school year, show proof of prior Texas public school enrollment and (for high school students) be on track to graduate.

The school offers a robust Advanced Learner Program, honors and AP^® courses and dual credit opportunities, where qualifying students also have the ability to participate in dual enrollment options in college courses tuition free.
