Bockenem, August 29, 2022 - On August 2, 2022, construction service provider and bond issuer GECCI informed investors about a delay in the outstanding interest on bond 2020/25 (DE000 A3E46C 5).

The payment of the interest was now made on time on August 26, 2022 and in full at the paying agent Bankhaus Gebrüder Martin AG. Depending on the bank details, the execution of the transfer between the payment office and your own account can take one to several working days. The decisive factor for compliance with the deadline is the time of deposit at the paying agent.

Managing Director Gerald Evans: “We are grateful for the patience of our bond investors, who unfortunately had to be subjected to a severe stress test at the beginning of August. The interest payment has now been made. We once again expressly ask for your understanding for the delay in view of the challenging economic conditions, in which our own claims often only reach us with delays.”

GECCI's business model is heavily dependent on pre-financing, i.e. GECCI makes advance payments for the sale of single-family houses via GECCI Rent and Buy (übereignung.de), both for the various building materials and for all other construction services. The preparatory work for the multi-family house project in Bockenem-Bültum has already been carried out - in the meantime, one of the single-family houses is due to be completed at intervals of one to two months.
