MACOM Technology Solutions Inc. (“MACOM”), today announced that Cobalt Digital, Inc. (“Cobalt Digital”) has selected MACOM’s MAEQ-23664 2nd Generation 12G-SDI Equalizer for Cobalt Digital’s new 9971-MV 4K UHD Hybrid HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI Multiviewer. The new multiviewer with its 4K UHD input and output support is designed to handle the latest generation of SDI standards and will be a strong addition to Cobalt Digital’s line of award winning multiviewers.
MACOM’s MAEQ-23664 is a 12G-SDI cable equalizer with an integrated reclocker in a 4x4mm 16 pin Land Grid Array (LGA) package. This second generation device, first demonstrated at NAB 2016, supports the longest cable reach in the industry, achieving 100 meters over standard Belden 1694A cable.
