Nyrstar NV – update met betrekking tot de kandidatuur van Mr. Kris Peeters als onafhankelijk niet-uitvoerend bestuurder

Nyrstar NV (de “Vennootschap”) werd vanavond op de hoogte gebracht van het feit dat de heer Kris Peeters zijn kandidatuur voor benoeming tot onafhankelijk niet-uitvoerend bestuurder van Nyrstar NV heeft ingetrokken. Deze beslissing werd door de heer Peeters genomen op 18 juni 2025 na heroverweging van zijn vroegere mandaat bij de Europese Investeringsbank, waar de heer Peeters tussen 2021 en 2024 vicevoorzitter was. Uit respect voor deze instelling en de persoonlijke keuze van de heer Peeters zal de Vennootschap geen verdere commentaar geven.
