Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico Reports Passenger Traffic Increase of 19.0% for the Month of April

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V., (NYSE:PAC) (BMV:GAP) (“the Company” or “GAP”) announced preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for the month of April 2017, compared to traffic figures for April 2016.

During April 2017, total terminal passengers increased 19.0% in the Company’s 13 airports, compared to the same period of the previous year. Domestic passenger traffic increased by 18.9%, while international passenger traffic increased by 19.2%.

Events for the Period:

  • Seats and Load Factors: In April 2017, GAP registered an 11.4% increase in the number of seats available compared to April 2016. Load factors for the month increased by 5.4 percentage points, from 78.0% in April 2016 to 83.4% in April 2017.

  • Guadalajara to Huatulco: Volaris
  • Guadalajara to Los Cabos: VivaAerobus
  • Los Cabos to San Diego: Southwest
  • Easter Holiday: The traffic growth rate for the four month period already discounts the effects of the Easter Holiday 2017, compared to 2016.
