  • In Morocco, OCP have unveiled worksites for new sulphuric acid production facilities -PS4- as part of an industrial development program aiming at respecting the best environnemental standards and reducing emissions;
  • In Tunisia, The BCT handed over to the CENTRAL BANK OF EGYPT, the presidency -for one year- of the North African sub-region, whose vice-presidency will be ensured by the CENTRAL BANK OF LIBYA and this until August 2022; 
  • In Egypt, the total investments allocated for the petroleum sector in fiscal year 2021/22 amounted to EGP 65.3bn;
  • Overall weak performances recorded by the covered African financial markets with the Casablanca Stock Exchange ending the session with the best daily performance (+0.84%).
