Grieg Seafood (Buy, TP: NOK170.00) - Starting to look like Grieg 2.0
After a few false starts, Grieg Seafood seems to have stabilised operations. Prudently taking out potentially weak fish ahead of winter at the expense of volumes should reduce the risk of downgrading products at a later date, we believe. The H2 cost guidance was higher than we expected, but in line for 2023–2024e. We have lowered our 2022–2024e EPS by 3.0–0.4%, but expect operations to be more stable from here. We reiterate our BUY and NOK170 target price.Greig Seafood is a fish farming group, based in Norway, that specialized in salmon and trout. Co. is the parent company of the Greig Seafood Group. Co. is engaged in the production and sale of seafood, and naturally related activities to the sale of seafood. Co. is predominately engaged in the production of farmed salmon and trout, with a production capacity of around 95,00 tons gutted weight annually. Co. has 100 licences for salmon production and five licences for smolt production. Co. has operations in Finnmark and Rogaland in Norway, British Columbia in Canada, and Shetland (the U.K.).
