Good Energy’s unique equity proposition is its combination of renewable generation capacity with a growing retail energy business. All energy sold to customers is sourced from renewable sources, with approximately 19% generated by its own solar and wind farms and the remainder procured via long-term contracts from third-party renewable generators. The stock is attractively valued in comparison to its forecast high level of growth.Good Energy Group is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in the purchase, generation and sale of electricity from renewable sources; the sale of gas; services relating to micro-renewable generation and the development of new electricity generation sites. Co.'s main segments include: supply companies (including electricity supply, feed-in-tariff administration and gas supply); electricity generation companies (including wind and solar generation companies); and generation development (44 early stage development companies at Dec 31 2016). As of Dec 31 2016, Co. had 71,486 electricity customers and 44,107 gas customers.
