Swiss innovation in the global spotlight: Procivis AG wins tender from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

As part of the DHS Silicon Valley Innovation Program (SVIP), Procivis will work on digital open-source wallets and verifier components for decentralized digital identities and presented during the SVIP Demo Week from May 21-22, 2024, in Alexandria, VA.

The Switzerland-based startup, Procivis, a leading provider of digital identity solutions, has been selected by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the Silicon Valley Innovation Program (SVIP). As part of this program, which focuses on privacy, security and interoperability among different digital identity protocols, formats, and credential systems, Procivis will further develop its pioneering Provicis One solution for the DHS.

Procivis will work together with other selected companies on the privacy, security and interoperability of digital credentials and protocols required from DHS. The award to Procivis underscores the DHS's confidence in Procivis, with its experts and its innovative software solution, Procivis One, for secure, decentralized digital identities.

Procivis One is a modular end-to-end solution for digital identities and credentials that meets all technical specifications for the Swiss E-ID ecosystem, the European eIDAS 2.0 regulation, DHS requirements, and many other requirements. Due to its modular and flexible architecture, additional requirements can be quickly integrated.

Procivis One was developed from scratch by a team of experts, with a focus on flexibility, privacy, security, and scalability. Procivis One can be installed and operated independently by our customers. As a result, our customers have full control, privacy, and sovereignty. It also allows for seamless integration into existing e-ID systems and mobile apps.
