Encana Outlines Strong Five-Year Growth Plan; Raising Fair Value
Encana's management team has outlined its vision for the next five years of growth. During this period, the company expects to increase its production by 60%, driven by acceleration of activity in the Permian (3-4 times growth in total volumes by 2021) and the Montney (2 times growth in natural gas and 4-5 times growth in liquids over the same period). All of Co.'s reserves and production are located in North America. As at Dec. 31, 2016, total proved developed and undeveloped reserves for natural gas, oil, and NGLs were 2.90 billion cubic ft., 155.6 million barrels (MMbbls), and 150.4 MMbbls, respectively. Co.'s operating and reportable segments are: Canadian Operations, USA Operations, and Market Optimization.
