Equinix Ends 2016 on a Strong Note but Guides Weaker Growth; Shares Fairly Valued
Equinix posted strong revenue growth and improved profitability for the fourth quarter of 2016. However, management projects 2017 revenue, excluding revenue from the acquisition of Verizon’s data centers, to only grow at 11% or more on a constant currency basis, down from 14% organic growth in 2016, due to continued integration of acquired assets and the shortfall due to LinkedIn switching to wholesale locations.
