EM FWA-Watch S-Curve continuing to accelerate in India, with implications for EM generally
Indian FWA net adds continue to accelerate and reached roughly c. 2.1m in the December quarter. India is probably therefore now accounting for around 50% of global shipments. We continue to think this is a critical development, and likely to drive an S-curve of adoption in Global EM.
PT Indosat is an Indonesian telecommunications network and service provider. Co.'s principal products and services include Cellular services in which Co. provides Global System for Mobile Communications 900 and 1800 cellular services; Fixed telecommunications services in which Co. provides international long-distance services in Indonesia; and MIDI services in which Co. provides broadband and narrowband fixed data services, including frame relay services, Very Small Aperture Terminal services, leased circuits and Internet services, through Lintasarta, PT Indosat Mega Media to corporate and retail customers and wholesalers.
Millicom International Cellular is a global telecommunications group with mobile telephony operations in emerging markets. Co also operates various combinations of fixed telephony, cable and broadband businesses in five countries in Central America. Co. operates its mobile businesses in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Mauritius, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania and Laos. Co. also provides broadband and cable television services in Costa Rica, Honduras and El Salvador; fixed telephony in El Salvador and Honduras, and corporate data services in the above countries and in Guatemala and Nicaragua.
