We welcomed 13 companies from the energy sector to our 2022 ODDO BHF Forum, the highest number ever! The sharp increase in raw material prices should help to ensure financing for the majors in renewable energies whilst at the same time maintaining significant shareholder returns. Future investment, notably in LNG (gas has recently been included in the green taxonomy) should help to underpin the pipelines of numerous oil services companies which should also take positions on new market...

Accor SA

Accor is a hotel operator. Co. offers its guests and partners the expertise of a hotel operator and brand franchisor (HotelServices) and a hotel owner and investor (HotelInvest). Co. divides its activities into three segments: Luxury-upscale, Midscale and Economy. Luxury-upscale makes up 11% of Co.'s portfolio and comprises brands such as Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, and Grand Mercure; Midscale makes up 43% of its portfolio and comprises the Novotel, Suite Novotel, Mercure and Adagio brands; and Economy makes up 46% the Co.'s portfolio, comprising the brands ibis, ibis Styles, ibis budget and hotelF1. Hermes International SCA

Hermes International is engaged in the manufacture, sale, and distribution of luxury goods primarily in France, rest of Europe, Japan, Asia-Pacific, and Americas. Co.'s activities can be divided into two segments: the distribution via Co.'s exclusive network and the distribution via specialist outlets. The distribution via Co.'s exclusive network comprises silks and textiles, leather goods and saddlery, ready-to-wear and fashion accessories (men and women's clothing, belts, jewellery accessories, gloves, hats and shoes), and other goods (jewellery and products of the art of living department). The distribution via specialist outlets comprise perfumes, tableware and watches.

HUGO BOSS AG

HUGO BOSS Group is engaged in the global apparel market. The Group, which is based in Metzingen Germany employs almost 12,500 people, generated annual sales of EUR 2.4 billion in fiscal year 2013 and is an apparel manufacturer. The Group focuses on developing and marketing high-end women's and men's fashion and accessories. With its brand including the BOSS core brand, the lines BOSS Orange, BOSS Green and the progressive brand HUGO, Co. targets different, consumer groups. The brands consists of modern business wear, evening wear and sportswear, shoes and leather accessories as well as licensed fragrances, eyewear, watches, children's fashion, home textiles and mobile accessories.

Co. offers champagne and wines, cognac and spirits, fashion and leather goods, perfumes and cosmetics, watches and jewelery; and is engaged in selective retailing. Its operations are organized along five business segments: Wine and Spirits, Fashion and Leather Goods, Perfumes and Cosmetics, Watches and Jewelery, and Selective Retailing. Co. is also engaged in other activities (Media with Les Echos group, La Samaritaine and Luxury yacht with Royal Van Lent). Gas Natural SDG is a gas company based in Spain. Siltronic AG

Siltronic AG is a Germany-based producer of hyperpure silicon wafers. The Company offers polished wafers, epitaxial wafers and annealed wafers, among others. Its products are used for semiconductor components, including high-voltage applications, low resistivity devices in automotive engineering and telecommunications, as well as integrated microprocessors and memory modules for information processing in cell phones, laptops and other consumer goods. Co.'s operations can be divided into two segments: Watches & Jewelry, which is engaged in the production and sale of watches and jewelry; and Electronic Systems, which is engaged in the design, production and commercialization of electronic components, sports timing activities. Co. manufactures and sells watches under the following brands, among others: Breguet, Harry Winston, Blancpain, Glashutte Original, Jaquet Droz, Leon Hatot, and Omega.

Uniper SE

Uniper SE is a Germany-based energy generation and energy trading company. The Company operates through three segments: European Generation, Global Commodities and International Power Generation. VERBUND AG Class A

Verbund is a public utility company engaged in the generation and transmission of electricity from subsidiaries' hydro and thermal power stations located throughout Austria. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is involved in the planning and construction of water systems, hydroelectric power plants, river structures, sewage disposal systems, and high voltage transmission towers and lines. Co. generates, trades and sells electrical energy to power exchange buyers, traders, energy supply companies and industrial companies as well as households and commercial customers.
