Air France-KLM : The CMA CGM’s helping hand to Air France-KLM
On 18 May, CMA CGM announced that it would acquire a stake in Air France-KLM as part of an air cargo partnership. This announcement lends further credence to the feasibility of the forthcoming capital increase that Air France-KLM has been considering for several months, and which will be an essential step in its deleveraging process. Moreover, Q1 22 results have confirmed the strong earnings improvement at the group, which even tend to show better performances than its competitor...Air France-KLM is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in transporting passengers and cargo, aeronautics maintenance and other air-transport related activities, including catering and charter services.
