>A 2023 guidance range in line with expectations - The publication of final 2022 results brought no major surprises, with the key figures (group EBITDA of € 19.4bn and EBIT of € 17.5bn) in line with the preliminary data published last month. Net profit (for which we had no previous indication) was € 17.0bn, perfectly in line with our estimates (therefore no surprise at the bottom of the P&L) and up 88%. More importantly, management has issued its first guidance for 20...Hapag-Lloyd is a container liner shipping company. Co.'s core business is the shipping of containers by sea but also encompasses transport services from door to door. Co. transports hazardous goods by sea, road, rail, and inland waterway vessels; and provides reefer solutions to transport temperature-sensitive products, including perishable cargoes; and high value reefer cargoes, such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, and more. Co. also offers security information services; e-commerce solutions in the shipping industry; logistics services, such as pre-carriage and on-carriage transport services; and customs clearance services.
