MARKET COMMENT - NEW SANCTIONS PROVOKE SHARPEST FALLS SINCE 2014The RTS plummeted 11.4% yesterday to 1,095 as investors around the globe reacted to the new, harsher US sanctions on Russia. The day ahead still looks rough, with RTS futures down 1.7% as we write. However, global sentiment has improved. APAC markets and S&P 500 futures are in positive territory after a speech from Chinese President Xi Jinping.
