CIS EUROBOND MARKETAgainst the backdrop of the altercation between Russia and Ukraine, which sparked worries about possible escalation in the conflict in Ukraine and new sanctions against Russia, Russian Eurobonds fell from the opening but then managed to stabilize. On the day, the Russia 28 lost 1.7 pp, the Russia 42 and 43 slipped 1.1-1.2 pp, and the Russia 26 finished 0.8 pp lower. The Russia 5y CDS widened 8 bps to 169.8 bps. GOVERNMENT DEBTThe events in the Kerch Strait weighed on the OFZ market, as investors were worried about new sanctions. By midday yesterday, yields had risen 10-15 bps. Locals were cautiously buying, while foreigners, as expected, were selling. On the day, yields rose 10-12 bps in the 3-10y segment and 7-9 bps further out along the curve.
