Analyst Pin-board: 1H2020 corporate bond issuance results and 2H2020 outlook
Update on corporate bond issuance in 6M2020
According to HNX, companies have issued VND 156 trillion after the first six months of 2020, an increase of nearly 33% YoY. Corporate bond issuance activities have been active again since 2Q2020. According to Rong Viet estimates, the successful issuance rate after 6M2020 was about 69% versus 67% in 2019. The weight of bonds that have three to five years tenor increased sharply, accounting for more than 60% of total issuance in 1H2020 compared to about 46% in 2019. Meanwhile, the proportion of bonds under three year tenor decreased to 20% of total issuance.
