Wiesbaden, 27 November 2023 – comforte AG has successfully launched software solutions from the SecurDPS family at a leading global car parts and industrial equipment parts retailer. The US-based customer has over 10,000 locations in around 20 countries worldwide across its network. The annual sales revenues are in the double-digit billion US dollar range.

With the data-centric cybersecurity solutions from comforte, the company protects personal data from unauthorized access by third parties with tokenization. In a first step, the information and data from around 100,000 data records were tokenized at the customer. The solution will continue to be rolled out over the coming months. comforte's format-preserving data protection methods make the sensitive data unusable for unauthorized persons, while the processing, analysis and use of the data remains possible for companies at any time. This ensures full compliance with data privacy regulations such as PCI DSS and GDPR. At the same time, tokenization protects the data extensively against misuse, extortion, resale, and attempted fraud by hackers.
