Two-time overall World Cup winner Marco Odermatt and Sunrise, Swiss-Ski’s main partner, have agreed a long-term collaboration in which Sunrise will act as premium partner for Marco Odermatt. Last season, Marco Odermatt gave his fans the chance to get up close on race days as part of the Sunrise video series «Marco on Tour» and was featured in the Sunrise advertising campaign. This partnership is to intensify over the coming years. Marco Odermatt says: «For us athletes, having a strong main partner is an important basis for continued success. Working with Sunrise has been a great success so far and that’s been reflected in last season’s results as well. As you can imagine, I’m delighted that Sunrise has now chosen to work with me as a premium partner as well, and I’m looking forward to even closer collaboration with the entire Sunrise team.» For André Krause, CEO of Sunrise, strengthening the collaboration with Marco Odermatt makes sense for a number of reasons: «Marco Odermatt is currently the best skier in the world, with a string of wins to show for it – Olympic gold in the giant slalom, overall World Cup winner and world champion in the downhill and giant slalom. His ambitions and successes embody the Sunrise motto «Dream Big. Do Big.» every day and we’re convinced that our working together will be a win for both us and Marco.» Marco is the star of the current Sunrise advertising campaign promoting the Smart Wi-Fi Pod for high-speed Internet at home. On top of that, Sunrise will be giving ski fans a personal insight into Marco’s world, starting with the first social-media episode of «Marco On Tour», which will be broadcast shortly before the planned start of the season in Sölden.
Official main partner of the leading ski nation Sunrise has been Swiss-Ski’s main partner since 1 May 2022 and is exceedingly proud of its role. This long-term and wide-ranging aims to advance snow sports sustainably (from Swiss World Cup events through to youth and amateur sports, as well as promoting the sport in the various regions of Switzerland).
