Chicago Virtual Charter School (CVCS), a full-time, online public school, is now accepting enrollment applications for the 2018-2019 school year. Open tuition-free to all students in grades K-12 who reside in Chicago, CVCS uses a blended learning model – combining online learning with in-person instruction – to ensure every student receives a high-quality learning experience.
Through its personalized learning model, CVCS connects students with their teachers and peers in a virtual classroom setting. In addition to their online courses, students meet in-person once a week at the CVCS Learning Center. Centrally located in the West Loop, the Learning Center gives students opportunities to collaborate with their peers in person, meet face-to-face with their teachers, and foster a sense of school community.

Students at CVCS are offered a full course load in the core subjects of math, science, language arts, history and art, as well as high school honors and AP® courses. CVCS students receive instruction from their state-certified teachers during live, interactive online classes and at the Learning Center, as well as through recorded sessions.
