Colorado Preparatory Academy Now Accepting Enrollment for 2018-19 School Year

Colorado Preparatory Academy (CPA), an accredited online public school program for Colorado students in kindergarten through 12th grade, is now accepting enrollment for the 2018-19 school year. The school combines online instruction, rigorous curriculum and the support of Colorado-licensed teachers to provide a personalized experience for each student.

CPA specializes in programs designed specifically for advanced learners. College-minded students can choose from a broad range of courses in order to gain a competitive edge for the future and discover their path after high school. CPA also gives students the opportunity for concurrent enrollment, where they can earn college credit while still in high school. In addition, CPA offers a post-secondary preparedness program that ensures students are prepared for college.

“At CPA, our mission and vision is to prepare students for whatever comes next after high school,” said Nicole Tiley, head of school at Colorado Preparatory Academy. “We strive to maximize each student’s learning potential and know that every child is capable of meeting our program’s high expectations.”

CPA provides an option for families seeking an alternative to brick-and-mortar schools. Through live and recorded online class sessions, students and their teachers engage in the core subjects of English/language arts, math, science, history, world languages, art and music, as well as Advanced Placement® courses for high school students.

In addition to live online classes, teachers regularly communicate with students and families via email and phone. Teachers aim to establish a partnership with parents, so the students benefit from a strong network of support.

During the enrollment period, CPA will be conducting online and in-person information sessions throughout the state. Interested families are encouraged to attend to meet teachers, staff and other families and learn more about the award-winning online curriculum provided by K12.
