Hill House Passport Academy Charter School Now Accepting Enrollment for 2017-18 School Year

Hill House Passport Academy Charter School (HHPACS), a tuition-free online public high school for under-credited students, is now accepting enrollment for the 2017-18 school year. HHPACS is designed to help Pennsylvania students over 17 and under 21 years old who have not been able to finish their high school education get back on track and earn a diploma.

HHPACS is a blended learning environment which combines online coursework with classroom work taught by state-certified teachers. Flexible hours mean that school can be adapted to the student’s schedule, situation and life, allowing greater opportunities for the future.

“No matter what’s gotten in your way, at Hill House Passport Academy Charter School we’ll work with you to create an individualized plan for both high school and post-high school success – in college, a vocational program or straight to a career that fits who you are,” said HHPACS head of school Early King.

Students are required to attend three hours of in-person learning each day. The flexible schedule and blended learning model allows students to move through the curriculum at their own pace and attend classes during either the morning, afternoon, or evening session while finishing the rest of their work online.

Through a partnership with local organizations and traditional public schools, HHPACS is able to identify students who will thrive in the blended learning environment and support these students so they are successful. The school’s support is provided through unique programs that include workshops, ongoing development and in-person tutoring to help students reach required academic benchmarks, helping ensure students are prepared for life after high school.
