GARNAVILLO, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Iowa Virtual Academy (IAVA), an online public school program of the Clayton Ridge Community School District, serving students in grades K through 12, will honor the Class of 2017 at a graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 10th. This is IAVA’s third graduating class. Eleven high school seniors will graduate from the school, which is open to all Iowa residents.
Iowa Virtual Academy offers a tuition-free alternative to a traditional brick-and-mortar education for families and students. Lessons are accessed online and each student is supported by a highly-qualified, Iowa-certified teacher who monitors student progress while providing professional insight and instruction. Teachers communicate with students via phone, email and online classroom technology to deliver a highly-individualized approach that helps prepare students for post-graduation career or college success.
Graduates plan to pursue higher education at colleges and universities including: University of Northern Iowa, Des Moines Area Community College, Kirkwood Community College and Scott Community College.
