Texas Virtual Academy Now Accepting Enrollment for 2017-18 School Year

Texas Virtual Academy (TXVA), a ResponsiveEd charter school in partnership with K12 Inc., is now accepting enrollment applications for the 2017-18 school year. TXVA is open to enroll students in grades 6-12 across the state of Texas. As a public school option, TXVA is tuition-free.

TXVA is dually accredited by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Southern Association of College and Schools Council (SACS), an accrediting division of AdvancED. All coursework is aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

The school’s engaging curriculum includes courses in English/language arts, math, science, history, world languages, art and music, as well as numerous electives. College- or career-minded students can choose from a broad range of profession-focused courses in order to gain a competitive edge for the future, discover their path after high school or explore a possible college major.

State-certified teachers provide instruction, guidance and support and interact with students and parents via email, web-based classrooms, online discussions, phone and in-person meetings.
