“I Love Travel” invites contestants, novice as well as experienced, to create inspiring travel short films by using CyberLink’s award-winning PowerDirector or ActionDirector video editing software, or the PowerDirector App on Android devices. In addition to conventional 2D short films, this year CyberLink adds a new 360°category to encourage 360°camera users, to create immersive 360°travel videos with CyberLink’s latest version of PowerDirector or ActionDirector, which both provide easy-to-use tools to create and edit 360°content.
Recommended topics include the contestant’s most memorable travel experience, an adventure story, or a vacation that holds personal significance. Submissions will be eligible for three award categories: The Great Travelers, Audience Favorite, and Lucky Voters’ Prize.

Contestants can download a free trial version of PowerDirector, ActionDirector, or the PowerDirector App to create their video. Winners of The Great Travelers award will be selected based on editing techniques, story originality, and production quality. Prizes for the winners include a Acer Aspire VX15 gaming notebooks sponsored by Intel, DJI Mavic Pro, Samsung Gear 360 camera, Oculus Rift VR headset, and CyberLink’s Director Suite.
