Coventry Building Society Selects GLORY to Provide Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) Solutions and Services

GLORY today announced a new partnership with Coventry Building Society, the second largest building society in the UK, to provide Teller Cash Recyclers across its branch network.

Coventry Building Society has embarked on a branch transformation programme across its branch network. The Society has developed an open plan design which provides a ‘coffee-shop look and feel’ to its branches, and TCRs are a key part of the new branch design and operating model.

The new design, which allows for greater interaction between employees and members alike, has been successfully deployed at eight of the Society’s branches including Leicester, Birmingham and Merry Hill. Feedback on the new design from customers and Coventry employees has been overwhelmingly positive.

This is the first major rollout of TCRs in a traditional (provider of savings and residential mortgage products only) UK building society and emphasises the investment that the Society is making to ensure that its branches are equipped to provide high quality service to fulfil its members needs in the branch channel.

Head of Branch Network, Matt Mannings, said, “We want to encourage more people to save for their futures by offering good value over the long term, backed up by great service. The introduction of TCRs to our branches will help us deliver the service with a human touch that our members value so greatly.”

Dean Millward, Glory UK Sales Director added, “We are delighted to support Coventry Building Society in its transformation programme. This represents a major milestone for what is evolving into a wonderful renaissance for mutual, member owned organisations in recent years as customers seek simple, good value financial services products. The Society is the first pure savings and mortgage provider to take on a project of this nature and we are delighted to support them with the provision of our cash technology hardware and software solutions that will hugely benefit both members and colleagues alike”.

This latest partnership continues to confirm Glory’s position as the leading supplier of TCR solutions and services in the UK financial service market.
