Havila Kystruten AS: Selskapet er nå eier av Havila Polaris og Havila Pollux

Havila Kystruten ble i ettermiddag eier av Havila Polaris og Havila Pollux ved Tersan-verftet i Tyrkia. Skipene vil etter utklarering fra Tyrkia seile hjem til Norge for å settes i rute langs norskekysten.

Skipene er heleid av selskapet og er registrert i Norsk Skipsregister NOR og seiler nå under norsk flagg.

De fire søsterskipene har samlet en anslått markedsverdi på 600 millioner euro, og er finansiert gjennom et obligasjonslån på 305 millioner euro fra ulike fond tilknyttet investeringsselskapet HPS Investment Partners LLC, eller datterselskaper og tilknyttede selskaper av disse.

Det er hentet inn 65 millioner euro i ny egenkapital, samt at Havila Holding AS har bidratt med et lån på 20 millioner euro.

Havila Polaris og Havila Pollux vil seile fra verftet i løpet av de første dagene slik at Havila Polaris kan starte i rute fra Bergen 17. august, og Havila Pollux 23. august.

Selskapet har etter leveringen grunnlaget for å oppfylle kontrakten med Samferdselsdepartementet.
