Aptose Biosciences Meets Nasdaq Minimum Bid Price Compliance

SAN DIEGO and TORONTO, June 26, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aptose Biosciences Inc. (“Aptose” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: APTO, TSX: APS), a clinical-stage precision oncology company developing highly differentiated oral kinase inhibitors to treat hematologic malignancies, today announced that it received a written notification from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market, LLC (“Nasdaq”) notifying the Company that it meets compliance with the Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement.

In July 2022, Aptose received notice from Nasdaq that its common shares failed to maintain a minimum bid price to remain listed on the exchange. Aptose was allowed a cure period of 6 months, along with an additional 6-month extension period, to meet the minimum share price or greater. As a mechanism for cure and supported by shareholder approval, Aptose implemented a reverse stock split during June 2023. On June 21, 2023, Nasdaq confirmed that, for ten consecutive business days, the closing bid price of the Company’s common stock has been at $1.00 per share or greater. Accordingly, the Company meets compliance with Listing Rule 5550(a(2), and the matter is closed.
