Aves One starts the fiscal year with record results and expects significant growth in 2019
- Q1 revenue rose by 74% to EUR 27.2 million
- EBITDA more than doubled to EUR 20.6 million

Hamburg, May 29, 2019 - Aves One AG, a strongly growing logistics asset holder, showed a good start into the 2019 financial year. Both sales and earnings increased considerably compared to the same period last year. The company expects significant growth in the course of the year.
In the first three months of the ongoing financial year, sales reached around EUR 27.2 million - an increase of approximately 74 % compared to the same period of the previous year (EUR 15.6 million). In addition to the expansion of the portfolio through acquisitions, the significant improvement in the revenue performance is the result of the positive operating development and the unchanged high utilization of the freight wagon and container portfolios. The market environment in the rail and container segments remains positive.
This positive development is also reflected in the earnings figures for the first quarter of 2019: EBITDA more than doubled to EUR 20.6 million (previous year: EUR 9.9 million). EBT adjusted by exchange rate effects in the financial result rose even more significantly to EUR 3.4 million (previous year: EUR 0.2 million). Consolidated net income also improved strongly compared to the same quarter of the previous year to EUR 6.7 million (previous year: EUR -4.7 million).
"We have started the year 2019 very well and have taken another important step towards achieving our targets for the full year 2019 - consolidated sales of over EUR 110 million and EBITDA of more than EUR 80 million. The quarterly result shows that we have significantly strengthened our portfolio through acquisitions and are very well positioned at the operating level," says Jürgen Bauer, CEO of Aves One AG. "With a strong deal pipeline, we intend to continue on this path and to reach the billion-euro threshold in our portfolio value in the course of the year. The path remains set for growth," adds Aves One Board member Bauer.
