Black Box Appoints Doug Oathout as Vice President of Strategic Partner Relations

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BBOX), a leading digital solutions provider, announced today that Doug Oathout has joined the Company as its Vice President of Strategic Partner Relations.

Mr. Oathout has deep industry expertise and knowledge of the leading companies in the technology space and will lean on that background to help position Black Box as the leading Trusted Digital Partner. In this new role, Mr. Oathout will help develop and lead a holistic and innovative partner strategy for the business that leverages the best practices within Black Box and the industry. He brings over 20 years of progressive partner relations and marketing experience with world-class organizations. Prior to joining Black Box, Mr. Oathout was with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and held several progressive roles including Vice President of Converged Infrastructure and Alliance Marketing where he was actively involved with IoT and Cloud strategy, services and products. In addition, he held the roles of Vice President of Channel Partners and Vice President of Marketing for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Prior to his time at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, he was with IBM as the Director of Enterprise System Offerings. Mr. Oathout holds a bachelor degree in Engineering from Clarkson University and an MBA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Kenan-Flagler Business School.
