Mr. Norberto Emílio Sequeira da Rosa informed the Remunerations and Welfare Board of Banco Comercial Português, S.A. (“BCP”) that he accepted the invitation to the position of Secretary General of the Portuguese Banking Association. Considering Mr. Norberto Emílio Sequeira da Rosa that, in the scope of his position, he will have to attend to the interests of the banking sector as a whole, this being incompatible with the role of the non-executive member of the Board of Directors of BCP, he has requested the renouncing to the later and the inherent cessation of the authorization process, which was following its normal course with the competent authorities.
