BERKELEY, Calif. and VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 17, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BriaCell Therapeutics Corp. ("BriaCell" or the "Company") (TSX-V:BCT) (OTCQB:BCTXF), a clinical-stage biotechnology company specializing in targeted immunotherapy for advanced breast cancer, announces that further to its news release dated August 11, 2020, it has received the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange for the shares for debt transaction, to settle the aggregate of $374,000 in indebtness of the Company, through the issuance of 50,000 common shares of the Company (each, a "Share") at a deemed price of $7.48 per Share ("Debt Settlement").

All securities issued pursuant to the Debt Settlement are subject to a hold period of four-months and one day.
