Legg Mason BW Global Income Opportunities Fund Inc., which is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “BWG,” announced today the results of the votes cast at the Fund’s annual meeting of shareholders held February 24, 2017.

Leslie H. Gelb and Jane E. Trust were elected as Class II Directors of the Fund by owners of its common stock and preferred stock to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2020 or until their respective successors are duly elected and qualified or until they resign or are otherwise removed.

William R. Hutchinson was elected as a Class II Director of the Fund by owners of its preferred stock to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2020 or until his successor is duly elected and qualified or until he resigns or is otherwise removed.
