Citi Wins Derivatives Clearing Bank of the Year Award

Citi has reaffirmed its position as an industry leader with its recent win as Derivatives Clearing Bank of the Year by GlobalCapital. This is the fourth consecutive year that Citi has received this designation. The award was presented at the annual Americas Derivatives Awards gala in New York which honor the companies, innovations and people that have had the biggest impact on the derivatives markets in the region during the past 12 months.

“We are extremely pleased to once again be recognized for our achievements,” said Jerome Kemp, Global Head of Futures, Clearing and Collateral. “We continue to invest strategically in our derivatives clearing platform and have become a key part of a broader Investor Services offering at Citi. This accolade is a strong testament to our commitment to our clients globally and our ability to deliver innovative solutions to the market.”

“Our clearing business continues to blaze the path forward through innovation and the application of industry-leading technology,” said Christopher Perkins, Global Head of OTC Clearing. “We are well positioned to meet the needs of our clients as the market evolves and regulatory reform is implemented globally.”

Earlier this year, Risk named Citi OTC Client Clearer of the Year for the third consecutive year. In 2016, Citi was named Client Clearing Firm of the Year by FOW magazine, and Clearing Bank of the Year by Asia Risk.
