Casey's Hires Chief Marketing Officer

Casey’s General Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq symbol CASY) has announced the hiring of Chris Jones to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In his CMO role, Mr. Jones will oversee the Marketing, Advertising, Food Service and Digital activities at Casey’s, among other responsibilities.

“We’re excited to add Chris to our team to help us drive our newly announced value creation plan,” said President and CEO Terry Handley. “Chris brings 27 years of marketing, brand strategy, and digital engagement expertise that will help us execute against our plan and support our future growth.”

Prior to joining Casey’s, Mr. Jones career includes leadership or executive positions with Mars, Inc., Athene USA (formerly Aviva USA) and most recently as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at convenience store operator Kum & Go, where he championed their brand and customer experience initiatives, and the creation, implementation and development of the company’s first customer loyalty program.
