Commerce Bank Expands Small Business Services with CashFlow Complete

Commerce Bank has addressed a key pain point for small business customers with the launch of CashFlow Complete, its newest online banking service. CashFlow Complete helps business owners improve cash flow and efficiencies by automating the payments and invoicing process. Collecting payments from customers can take time and delay business operations. Through CashFlow Complete, businesses can send invoices and accept payments electronically by ACH and credit card, helping businesses to get paid more quickly. Business owners can manage approvals, see the status of payments, sync transaction information with their accounting software and even pay their bills, all in one place.

Commerce has joined together with Bill.com to respond to a growing need among business customers for payment and invoice automation. As a leading business payments provider, Bill.com has a network of 2 million members who process $30 billion in payments annually. As reported by Forbes1, small businesses are increasingly embracing technology as part of a larger global trend. But small businesses are no stranger to technology. Many Commerce small business customers incorporate technology for business needs like paying bills, paying employees and depositing checks.

CashFlow Complete isn’t the first financial technology tool Commerce has made available for small businesses. BodeTree, an online finance management tool, gives Commerce small business customers a high-level view of their business accounts. Matt White, director of commercial and small business strategy, sees CashFlow Complete as a natural extension of Commerce’s small business suite of online services. “From working closely with our small business customers, we know cash flow is a primary concern for them,” says White. “We’re seizing the opportunity to not only ease this pain point, but also help them increase efficiency and grow their business.” The service will be available to Commerce small business customers with an online banking account. Commerce offers a full suite of products and services tailored for small businesses, including online and mobile banking, online finance management, remote deposit and, as a preferred SBA lender, small business loans.
