Nylabone, the pet industry-leading provider of innovative dog chew toys, chew treats, play toys, and dental solutions since 1955, has partnered with the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) for its new National Dog Day Facebook Fundraiser. Nylabone will match contributions to the ASPCA® campaign up to $25,000 from August 19 through National Dog Day on August 26, 2020—a day dedicated to raising awareness for dogs in shelters and rescues.

Users can contribute donations via both organizations through links shared on their Facebook pages. Since March, the ASPCA® has been committed to its COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Initiative—a multi-million-dollar effort to help pets and animal welfare organizations impacted by the virus. Nylabone is devoted to helping the ASPCA® successfully provide access to free pet food, supplies, veterinary care, emergency boarding, and lifesaving funding to address the most urgent needs of pet parents and animal shelters in the United States.

The day also acknowledges family dogs and lifesaving animals such as those who work with law enforcement officers and assist disabled individuals. This National Dog Day, Nylabone and the ASPCA® will both share a special video on their Facebook pages featuring dogs like those who are seeking loving homes across the country.
