Cognex Corporation Announces Resignation of CFO

Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ: CGNX) today announced that Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer John J. Curran will resign from Cognex, effective May 3, 2019.

“I want to thank John for his contributions during his two-year tenure as CFO, which include the successful implementation of Cognex’s new ERP system and the further development of our Finance and Administration organization,” said Robert J. Willett, Cognex’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Willett continued, “Cognex is now actively recruiting to fill this important position. John will continue to serve in the role of CFO until May 3 and will remain available to the company on a consulting basis after that time.”

“It has been rewarding to be part of such an exciting and financially strong company, and to help lay the foundation for its future growth,” commented John Curran. “I would like to thank the extended Cognex team for a tremendous learning opportunity and for their support as I worked through this very difficult decision to leave.
