City Office REIT Improves Transparency with Yardi Voyager

Vancouver, British Columbia-based City Office REIT (NYSE:CIO) will adopt Yardi Voyager® as the new property management and accounting platform for 15 office complexes it owns in five U.S. states.

“Our property management partners can use our version of Voyager, so we no longer have to rely on an older legacy solution. Instituting Voyager 7S as City Office’s single technology platform will give us direct, immediate access to lease and accounting information that we previously received only monthly. We can operate in a more unified fashion than was previously possible,” said Anthony Maretic, chief financial officer, secretary and treasurer for City Office REIT.

“The transparency and mobility enabled by Voyager will be key factors in City Office REIT’s strategy of maintaining quality office properties in high growth markets. Efficiently managed properties supported by this end-to-end business platform will help the company attract high-quality, long-term tenants,” said Peter Altobelli, vice president of sales and general manager for Yardi Canada.
