The Casino Group confirms that it has entered into discussions with Aldi France regarding the acquisition of Leader Price
The Casino Group confirms that it has received an expression of interest from Aldi France in the acquisition of Leader Price in metropolitan France.
Following this expression of interest, the Casino Group and Aldi France entered into discussions with a view to have Aldi France submit a binding offer. Once known, if they are acceptable to the group, the offer parameters will be disclosed to the market.
The Casino Group intends to conduct these discussions in the best interest of Leader Price and its employees, as well as its partners.
Leader Price's employee representative bodies will be informed and consulted as soon as a sufficiently advanced project can be presented to them, in accordance with the relevant legal obligations.
