Cintas Named One of NaVOBA’s “2017 Best Corporations for Veteran’s Business Enterprises”

Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced it has been recognized as one of the “2017 Best Corporations for Veteran’s Business Enterprises” by the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA). The award, which honors businesses dedicated to supporting veteran-owned organizations, was accepted by Cintas at HeroZona, a week-long Veterans Day event that provides opportunities for direct access and exposure to contracting and programming specialists.

“Customers today expect businesses to support diverse suppliers, which is one of the many reasons why Cintas cultivates and maintains relationships with veteran-owned organizations,” said Pamela Brailsford, Senior Director of Supplier Diversity and Sustainability, Cintas. “In addition to being a potential tipping point when securing new customers or retaining current ones, working with these businesses also gives us a valuable perspective to better serve the markets in which we do business.”

NaVOBA, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by corporate supplier diversity professionals, presents the “Best Corporations for Veteran’s Business Enterprises” award annually to select organizations. Cintas partners with numerous veteran-owned companies as suppliers and has received over 40 awards related to supplier diversity, including WE USA “100 Corporations of the Year,” MBN USA “Corporate 101: Most Admired Companies” and Diversity Plus –Top 30 Champions of Diversity.

"Cintas is one of NaVOBA's most committed Corporate Allies and has demonstrated a clear dedication to Veteran's Business Enterprises," said NaVOBA's Vice President Corporate Relations Laxmi (Mimi) Lohm. "NaVOBA is proud to recognize Cintas Corporation as one of the best large companies for businesses owned by the women and men who have served our nation.”
