Federal OSHA Recognizes Cintas Location in Philadelphia with Highest Safety Designation

Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced that its location in West Philadelphia, PA received Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

“It is an honor and privilege to work beside our fantastic employee-partners in achieving VPP Star,” said Jon Baker, General Manager. “This team is passionate about coming to work to serve our customers in the Philadelphia area safely every day.”

VPP Star is the highest recognition for the practice of and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and health. The West Philadelphia location, which employs 162 people, is the 43rd Cintas facility in the United States to receive VPP Star designation since 2011. A total of 44 facilities have been recognized under the VPP program.

Cintas Corporation has almost three hundred facilities throughout the world actively pursuing VPP recognition by OSHA or the equivalent under a similar certifying body. This includes operations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Honduras.
