EDENS CEO Jodie W. McLean Joins Cushman & Wakefield Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) today announced the recent appointment of Jodie W. McLean as an independent member. McLean is the Chief Executive Officer of EDENS, one of the leading private owners, operators and developers of retail real estate in the United States.

“Jodie is a highly accomplished executive and business leader and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Board,” said Brett White, Executive Chairman & CEO of Cushman & Wakefield.

With a more than 25-year tenure at EDENS, McLean has established herself as a key player in the company’s growth and expansion to its current marketplace leadership. She is responsible for EDENS’ strategy to focus on development in urban centers, creating a portfolio of assets that are the cornerstone of community life. She was named Chief Investment Officer in 1997, President in 2002 and CEO in 2015. She is responsible for the development, redevelopment, acquisition and disposition of more than $12 billion in retail assets.

A native of Chicago, McLean serves as Trustee and Executive Board Member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Trustee of Urban Land Institute (ULI). She serves on boards for Extended Stay America (Nasdaq: STAY) and Wofford College, as well as for several other institutions and not-for-profits.
