DATAGROUP wins large-scale order from a leading German carmaker

Pliezhausen, October 9, 2018. DATAGROUP has won the tender for the SAP basic operation and the SAP basic consulting of a leading German carmaker. The order has a volume in the medium single-digit million euro range and a term of three years with the option of a two-year extension.

DATAGROUP will be responsible for the operation of the carmaker's entire SAP environment as a managed service from March 1, 2019. The scope of performance includes the operation of approx. 160 SAP instances on customer infrastructure, including critical production systems. The contract also involves consulting services for SAP S/4 Hana and innovation topics such as the SAP cloud platform. DATAGROUP will provide high-end services exclusively from Germany and will call in SAP specialists from DATAGROUP Enterprise Services to optimise costs and quality. The transition services will start in October 2018 and are planned for a period of five months.
