Dynacor Produces 6,363 Oz of Gold in July 2018
MONTREAL, Aug. 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dynacor Gold Mines Inc. (TSX: DNG) (OTC: DNGDF) (Dynacor or the Corporation) is pleased to report its July 2018 gold production.
In July, the Corporation produced 6,363 ounces of gold at its Veta Dorada plant (see Figure 1). This represents a slight increase of 1.2% as compared to the same period in 2017.
Total tonnes processed increased by more than 34% as compared to July 2017, a period where ore supply was impacted by an important earthquake. During the month of July, the Veta Dorada plant operated at 83% (62% in 2017) of its nameplate capacity. However, the ore grade was significantly lower which affected gold production.
Gold production in July 2018 declined compared to previous months due to lesser volume processed and mainly lower grade of ore supplied to the plant.
Historically, gold production during the 2nd half of the year has been considerably higher than during the first 6-months of the year. The Corporation’s 2018 production guidance is 90-94,000 ounces of gold.
