LOS ANGELES, CA, Aug. 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE -Discovery Minerals Ltd  (OTC: DSCR) - The Board of Directors are  pleased to announce that the Company is now current with all compliance filings including Financials for June Quarterly 2018.

As announced recently Discovery Minerals Ltd currently has an Option Agreement with Meritus Minerals to acquire their interest in a Gold Mining Project in Mongolia. Discovery’s Mining Projects Manager,  Girvan Jackson,  has just arrived in Ulaan Bataar to continue  the Company’s Due Diligence investigation of this Project.  Some information regarding requests by the local population in the mine vicinity have been delivered to Discovery’s  local attorney in Ulaan Bataar and will be addressed by Mr. Jackson while there, as a matter of priority. Mr. Jackson stated that these matters are best known early so as to be factored into the mining development Plan.  Local construction groups have offered to build mine accommodation for all personnel using local materials and a conveniently located bridge which will save many thousands of miles of travel over the course of the mine life.

While in Mongolia the Manager plans to visit other gold mine orebodies that have become available through their Mining Industry network.

Discovery also plans to examine some opportunities that have become available as joint ventures in the Diamond  production areas of the world.  These would be carried out as separate operations through a subsidiary company called :  Discovery Diamonds.
