DXC Technology Executives Named Health Data Management’s Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT

DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), the world’s leading independent, end-to-end IT services company, today announced that two of its leaders have been named to HealthData Management (HDM) Magazine’s list of “Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT.” They will be honored during the magazine’s annual convention in Boston on May 17.

HDM’s program recognizes extraordinary contributions in the field of health information technology (HIT) in three separate categories: CIO/IT Leaders, Tech Vendor Executives and Thought Leaders.

DXC executive Susan Arthur, vice president of America’s Health, Life Sciences and Regulated Industries, will be honored as a Most Powerful Woman in Healthcare IT in the Vendor Executives category, and Lisa Pettigrew, general manager in Americas Healthcare will be honored for the second year as a top Thought Leader.

Arthur and Pettigrew are being recognized by the magazine for their efforts in driving technology innovation, deploying leading-edge technology, shaping IT regulation and policy, and implementing healthcare technology that dramatically improves patient safety and efficiency.

Arthur is in charge of helping public sector and commercial healthcare and life sciences clients transform their organizations to operate and compete more effectively in the digital economy. Her team focuses on differentiated solutions for analytics, security, mobile health, enterprise grade applications and IT operations to solve their business problems. This includes improving health outcomes, reducing costs and increasing access.

“Every day, we meet our clients at the forefront of the HIT transformation, so I am honored by HDM’s recognition and the recognition of DXC leaders,” Arthur said. “We are just scratching the surface in terms of our ability to make an impact on the world, health and wellness with technology. It is a very exciting time to be in the healthcare and life sciences industry.”

Pettigrew has over 20 years of global experience leading commercial healthcare clients, initiating and launching innovative models of care to help their organizations achieve better outcomes and financial results.

“It is a privilege to be recognized among many outstanding female executives helping healthcare organizations, government bodies and policy makers transform their operations in delivering more appropriate care and services,” Pettigrew said. “We are pleased to be innovating new digital technologies to better serve patients, consumers and their families.”
