“It is a great honor to be recognized alongside my colleague Gay and so many other accomplished leaders who have contributed to the advancement of women in business,” said Lynn Dugle, CEO of Engility. “As the CEO of Engility, I lead a team that makes valuing people a priority, and I am privileged with many opportunities to encourage, empower and grow our employees.”

Gay Porter, vice president of Engility’s Technical Solutions Group, said, “I've been very fortunate in the work I've done and the opportunities I've encountered. This honor inspires me to pay that forward and share some of my lessons learned with others who may be just starting their careers.”

Dugle's career spans more than three decades and includes leadership experience in the defense, intelligence and telecommunication sectors. With a passion for activities and causes that support women leadership, science and education, Dugle was named one of the Top 100 Women in STEM by STEMconnector in 2012. Other recent awards include being named to the Wash100 2017 List of Most Influential Voices in Government Contracting. Earlier this year, she participated in the 2017 Fortune/U.S. Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership to further improve the status of women in business. This is Dugle’s second award from Diversity Journal; she was recognized as one of the Women Worth Watching in 2009.
